Rafael Gomezbarros studied Fine Arts at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. His work has often been marked by Colombian political situations. Through his works, he refers to the phenomena that alter social fabrics, particularly the violence and tension that exist between individuals and their society, desire and reality, and anonymity and identity. He lives and works in Bogotá.
