Francisca Aninat

Bio

Francisca Aninat studied Fine Arts at the Universidad Pontificia Católica de Chile and a master’s degree at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Throughout her career, she has experimented with different elements such as fabric, tin, and waste products, working across painting, installation, and audiovisual mediums. Throughout her work, she draws both physical and emotional ties, motivated by intertwining artistic practice and everyday life. Some of her most recent projects include participation in the Poly/Graphic San Juan Triennial: Latin America and the Caribbean, the 22nd Paiz Art Biennial in Guatemala, and the Casa Wabi Foundation in Mexico. Her work is part of the Cisneros Fontanals Art Foundation, the FEMSA Collection, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Chile, The MoMA Archives, and The Roberts Institute of Art. She has been published by Ikrek Edições, Ediciones Tácitas, and D21 Editores. She lives and works in London.
